Capabilities
This section describes what Fundamentum lets you do, grouped into six areas that follow the life of a device fleet: from bringing devices online to analyzing their data and governing who can access them.
Every capability is available in three ways: in the Hub web application, through the Public API, and with the fun CLI (directly, or through an AI agent). Devices interact with the platform over MQTT 5 over TLS or the Devices API, with or without the Edge components.
The six areas
- Onboard and secure devices: registries, device types, self-provisioning, factory pre-registration, gateways and LoRaWAN.
- Monitor the fleet: inventory, gateways and sub-devices, live connectivity and reboot detection, firmware tracking and alerts.
- Operate remotely: firmware updates, customizable actions and encoders, file transfers, remote terminal and port forwarding.
- Collect, route and transform data: telemetry and states, topics, connectors, inbound flows and cloud functions.
- Analyze with Insight: the no-code data warehouse, queryable in SQL.
- Govern access: organizations, projects, licenses, sites and zones, roles, service accounts and the audit log.
